Welcome to Melicious Bikini's,

Melicious Bikini's is owned and operated by Melissa Zimmerman - Former Oxygen Covergirl, Professional Fitness Athlete & Trainer to first time Athletes to Pro Level Athletes.  Melissa was National Fitness Champion from 2004 to 2007 with various Federations then went on to helping other athletes.

Mel felt a total lack of help and when help was available, it cost the world! Mel went through all of the competition process with little help or making do with what she had.  Lucky she had some fantastic friends who were already established competitors.  A fortnight before World Titles in Canada with the ANB/WNSO, Mel was told by a trainer at her previous gym that she would not be good enough to make Top 10. 

Upset and fired up, Mel trained harder and with fantastic support, made the journey to Toronto, Canada, stood on that  World Stage and came 3rd among 17 American and Canadian Athletes.  Mel also qualified for her Pro Card.  Mel remembers standing in a gym in Toronto being taught by Australian Natural Body Builder - Terri Stone, how to pose for stage.  Terri Stone would set a precedence for who were genuine in the sport.  This is where she  learned to try to turn all negatives into positives. 

Melicious Bikini's was born out of  the need to wear a bikini that was not generic and was under $400 but was still original and beautiful.  Melicious now ships bikini's off to the USA, Canada,China, Ireland & of course, Melicious has been on every stage in most states of Australia.  Melicious Bikini's sponsors the amazing Sara "Pocket Rocket" Picken Brown - IFBB Figure Athlete.

Mel also holds workshops for competitors, trains some of the NSW Emergency Services, is a NSW Paramedic & most importantly is Mum to Aaron, 17 & Amy Jo, 8.  Mel loves to help other athletes & see them complete their difficult but rewarding journey.  With her honesty and "No bull" attitude, athletes cannot be set up to fail.  Mel took all the bad things that athletes were complaining about & made sure NONE of it became part of their journey. 

Mel also loves to support the Australian Fitness Industry as she knows it can only help athlete's.  The Australian Fitness Industry is so small, helping eachother will only make us all stronger.  We have some of the most beautiful Models, Figure & Fitness Athlete's in the world as you will see on the Melicious Website
